I’m a bookaholic and proud of it. On days off, if I’m not hiking or walking somewhere, I’m usually curled up with a book or three. I am a speed reader, and can manage between 1-3 books a day. Currently I own over 400 books that I bought and have not read yet, and I’m enjoying reading my way through them. I also love joining reading challenges, as long as they will still allow me the time to pick up and read things not related to the challenge.
What I Read:
I’m a mystery and fantasy junkie, but I also really enjoy biographies, travelogues, history, non-fiction and non-fiction essays, poetry, sci-fi, horror, classical lit (among others).
Pride and Prejudice-Jane Austen, The Thin Man-Dashiell Hammett, The Iliad and The Odyssey of Homer (Pope translation), The Poems of Eminescu, Wordsworth, Keats and Yeats, anything by Nick Hornby (in case you couldn’t tell from my blog title) and Jasper Fforde, and many, many, many more.
